Pursing Something Greater

I want so much more, but I am now though being fought every time I pursue you! At first I'm distracted, and then outright opposed & discouraged, told you aren't true life, and tempted to once again return to all of those habits that have enslaved me over the years. My fight to pursue you and even call for your help and your pursuit of me becomes brutal. I begin to fall and my enemy takes me down time and time again. I lose hope and my passion for you and for life - and to be who you've made me to be - is drawn from me. I want you more than anything, but I cannot do this God - I want to fight, but I cannot do this alone. Please save me!
